Cold weather and knitting

Wow…so much has happened the last few weeks.  So much so that I haven’t had a moment to sit and reflect about any of it!

First visit from the parents.  Great to have them here, awesome visit and first meeting of both sets of parents.  Did some wonderful tourist stuff.  Was sad to see them leave.

Week long work conference in phoenix, with 90+ degree weather.  Incredibly tiring, but satisfying.  The hefty overtime check doesn’t hurt either.

Saturday afternoon fall-weather drive with the BF, enjoying the cooler temps and what was left of the autumn leaves.  Tried a new (to me) restaurant and saw an old damnable.

Hurricane Sandy with her winds and lots and lots of rain.  Never lost power at the house or any trees in the yard. Very lucky.   My thoughts are with those in the NYC and Jersey area.

Rapid cold temps.  Its in the low 40’s at the moment

Halloween…office party, neighborhood kids and party were I met new people and made new friends.

Now getting to sit down and work on the scarf that has been promised to the BF, its cold outside and I’m working on my second cup of coffee while I wait for my Packer game to start.

Up this week?  Another awesome time…my Joe is heading out for his birthday celebration and we are going to enjoy some Carrie Underwood in Baltimore.  Other than it being very cold and possibly VERY stormy upon his arrival, its going to be great.

AND a trip to Chicago is on the horizion, July to be exact…going for some Kelly clarkson and Jason Aldean at Wrigley…epic.

I am still here, and lots has been going on…and I’m hoping to get some Yarn Cabinet knitting in.  Was able to finish two baby blankets with matching hats before leaving for Phoenix …need to get the store back open!!

Thanks for stopping by…
